I don't know person who simply lived long enough to share this. I came across this list, and it’s stuck with me. As I continue to navigate career, relationships, business, and life in general, these reminders feel more relevant than ever. They don’t come from a business book or a productivity hack. .
Here are a few that stood out to me:
Have a firm handshake. Look people in the eye.
Choose your life’s partner carefully. 90% of your happiness or misery will come from that one decision.
Be brave, even if you’re not. Pretend to be, no one can tell the difference.
Don’t burn bridges. You’ll be surprised how many times you have to cross the same river.
Mental strength only comes in response to a need, not a desire.
Take charge of your attitude. Don’t let someone else choose it for you.
Never beg for a seat when you can build your own table.
Some are tough. Some are tender. All of them are real.
Success is more than income and influence. It’s also the way you live, the people you love, and the moments you don’t take for granted. I'll share the complete list in the comments...
